New Group Exhibition at Crisp Museum

The Tamarind Institute at the University of New Mexico has the Migrations: New Directions in Native American Art exhibition traveling to the Crisp Museum from October 17 through December 20th, 2008 (Hmm. Very auspicious dates. It comes down the day before the Winter Solstice).

The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum is located at the Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri (south of St. Louis). This Migrations show is still one of my favorite exhibitions from the past few years; Marjorie Devon at the Tamarind put a lot of very careful thought into its planning. Well, the Eiteljorg exhibition was hard to beat too, but that is another story...
